The Harvard Human Rights Journal is a journal of international human rights scholarship published by students of Harvard Law School in cooperation with the Harvard Human Rights Program. The Journal publishes cutting-edge human rights scholarship by academics, practitioners, and students. In doing so, we provide a forum for dialogue and the exchange of ideas from a variety of international perspectives.
In 2008 the Journal made the exciting transition to biannual publication, with two issues of Volume 21 published in March and June 2008. In addition to traditional full-length articles, the June issue included shorter symposium pieces focusing on the U.S.’s role in promoting human rights both at home and abroad.
The upcoming Human Rights Journal spring symposium, Responsibility to Protect, includes distinguished academics, policy-makers, advocates, and field workers in a discussion about current domestic human rights issues and abuses.
